SERVICES & SUPPORT

Service engineered to your QMS.

ISO 13485:2016 service procedures · IEC 60601-1 preventive maintenance intervals · NIST-traceable calibration on every qualified visit. Field service engineer (FSE) coverage is scoped by analyzer family, reagent lot controls and networked monitoring endpoints—not by brand slogan.

SERVICE TIER MATRIX

Structured coverage for analyzers and networked monitors.

Response times and documentation classes below are planning envelopes. Contractual SLAs, mean time between failures (MTBF) review windows and mean time to repair (MTTR) targets are confirmed in the site-specific statement of work—not on this page as universal guarantees.

Service Tier Coverage On-site Response Documentation
Platinum 24/7 365d × 24h, all fault classes ≤ 4h urban target IQ/OQ/PQ + 21 CFR Part 11 audit trail
Gold Mon–Sun 07:00–19:00 ≤ 8h on-site target OQ/PQ + signed service report
Silver Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 NBD parts shipping PM compliance log
Per-Call On-demand 24–72h scheduling window Service report only

METHODOLOGY

Four steps that keep service inside your quality system.

  1. 01

    ISO 13485 Scope Definition

Service interface to your QMS is defined per clause 7.5.1 Production & Service Provision, including analyzer, reagent and monitoring endpoints in scope.

  2. 02

    21 CFR 820.50 Supplier Controls

Sysmex qualifies OEM and third-party service partners with audited DHF/DMR packages before they touch hospital-owned assets.

  3. 03

    IEC 62304 Software Lifecycle

Cybersecurity patches, firmware updates and SaMD-related bug fixes remain traceable to risk class, version and change-control evidence.

  4. 04

    Documentation Package

Service Assessment Plan, FRACAS, trend analysis and MDR-ready vigilance extracts are packaged for biomedical engineering and quality reviewers. UDI look-ups and lot-linked reagent service notes travel with the work order.

Service limits: Silver and Per-Call tiers do not include 4-hour urban response; remote diagnostics require hospital-approved network access; reagent-related failures may need lot quarantine before field repair; monitoring cybersecurity patches follow IEC 62304 change control and may defer non-critical updates to the next planned window.
